We are currently seeking a suitably qualified Maintenance Officer at Regis Tiwi. The Maintenance Officer will be responsible for providing building maintenance services, equipment management, painting, and gardening activities across the grounds and in and around these three wonderful aged care homes.

A day in the life of a Maintenance Officer may see you:

1. Maintaining plant, equipment, building, and services.
2. Ensuring up-to-date records of all chemicals in use and compliance with appropriate safety and best practice.
3. Maintaining the grounds in a neat and tidy manner.
4. Identifying preventative maintenance requirements, completing the works, and documenting schedules.
5. Ensuring preventative and corrective maintenance is actioned within legal requirements and documented in the relevant registers.

What we look for:

1. General hands-on maintenance or handyman skills.
2. Maintenance of grounds, general painting skills, maintaining garden beds, and knowledge of gardening equipment would be preferred.
3. Experience in supervision or coordination of maintenance programs.
4. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
5. Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
