About Harris Farm Markets

We are an expanding fresh food retail business with 34 + stores across NSW, ACT and QLD. For over 40 years we’ve remained 100% family owned and operated, this means we are agile, innovative and implement ideas rapidly. We are also home to almost 3,500 wonderful Harris Farmers, all with a common purpose, to reconnect Aussies with the joy of food.

The Role

People are the driving force behind any successful business. That is why we are focused on finding bubbly, outgoing, hard working and ambitious people that are positive influences in our stores. Our goal is to build teams of enthusiastic experts who love working at Harris Farm Markets and are able to add that extra something to our loyal customers. We are looking for people that are driven, passionate and want to help reconnect people with the natural joys of food.

Responsibilities

- Provide excellent customer service and address needs of customers

- Surprise and delight the customers with consistent, delicious food

- Ensure fresh and appealing displays by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked

- Maintain accurate department signage and pricing

- Stock and clean shelves, frozen and dairy case

- Maintain back stock in good order

- Maintain a safe, clean and well‑organised working and shopping environment

- Assist with food crew sampling programs, keeping sample areas full, clean, and appealing

- Follow and comply with all applicable health and safety procedures

The right type of person

- Outgoing and bubbly personality, willing to engage with our customers

- Team player, coordination is key as working together is imperative for success

- Flexible availability, it's a busy shop across 7 days
