About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the growth and development of our ICU nursing workforce. Western Health Intensive Care Education Department is seeking a dedicated and motivated Clinical Nurse Educator. As a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE), you will provide expert clinical guidance, education, a supportive environment and mentorship to all nursing staff. You will provide expert guidance to nurses at all levels including Graduate Plus, Introduction to ICU, postgraduate ICU learners and Senior Nursing Staff. By mentoring and developing others, you will help shape the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care, role modelling excellence in patient care and teamwork, directly contributing to improved patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities

- Provide expert clinical support, supervision, and mentorship to nursing staff within the ICU setting.

- Role model evidence-based practice and promote adherence to Western Health policies and values.

- Support the development and implementation of tailored teaching plans and education sessions.

- Participate in quality improvement, research, and reflective practice to enhance patient care.

- Communicate effectively and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support nursing performance.

About You

- Registered Nurse with AHPRA and a minimum of 3 years’ ICU experience.

- Demonstrated ability to educate, mentor, and support staff in the clinical environment.

- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

- Proficiency in using and troubleshooting healthcare ICT systems.
