Our Bellingen venue is set in a stunning regional location, and we’re currently seeking a dedicated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our front-of-house team.

About the Role

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you’ll support the Venue Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring consistently high levels of service. This role is perfect for someone who leads by example, builds strong team culture, and brings a hands-on approach to service, training, and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver exceptional customer service and handle guest feedback professionally

- Assist in managing day-to-day FOH operations to ensure smooth service

- Support and lead the FOH team through training, coaching, and active supervision

- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to maintain service flow

- Assist with rostering, reservations, and stock control

- Maintain high standards in cleanliness, service, and presentation

- Promote and uphold Three Blue Ducks’ values around sustainability, quality, and community

About You

- Previous experience in a leadership role within a high-volume restaurant

- Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service

- Confident, approachable, and calm under pressure

- Excellent communication and time management skills

- Enthusiastic about sustainable practices and ethical food sourcing

- RSA certified (or willing to obtain)
