This position is situated at the Timbertop campus near Mansfield. This position is responsible for providing support to teachers and students to maximise learning opportunities for students with diverse needs. The position requires collaboration with Classroom Teachers including specialist teachers to support students to achieve their potential.

About the Role

Key responsibilities:

- To assist Classroom and Specialist Teachers to ensure students’ needs are addressed through the teaching and learning programme
- To support the Individual Learning Plans/Targets of students requiring individualised support
- To work with small groups of students to support development in all curriculum areas
- To maintain positive and supportive interactions with all teachers, parents and relevant consultants

About you

- Qualifications (eg Certificate Ill in Education Support, or start of Bachelor’s degree in Education) or experience as a School Learning Facilitator / Integration Aide
- A passion and ability to cater to the individual learning needs of students, particularly those with specific learning and behavioural difficulties
- Experience supporting students’ learning and behaviour
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including an ability to develop rapport with students, parents and guardians
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting
- Candidates must possess a current Victorian Working With Children Check (Employee) and a National Police Records Check.

Working Hours

We have two part-time opportunities available. We are open to hearing from candidates who are available to work flexibly over a four week roster, averaging between 18.75 and 26 hours per week. Flexibility and responsiveness to the needs of the program are essential.

Please note that as our Timbertop students undertake class work Friday to Tuesday, the successful candidates will be required to work two weekends out of every four.

We are seeking an Inclusive Learning Facilitator who is available to commence in Term 4 of this year, and a second Inclusive Learning Facilitator who is able to commence in Term 1 of 2026. Both roles are offered until the end of 2026.
