Overview

Panthers Rugby League Club has a rare and exciting opportunity for a motivated Junior Graphic Designer to join our busy marketing team

Panthers Rugby League marketing team are seeking an artistic, creative and enthusiastic individual to join their busy team as a Graphic Designer. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will have respectable graphic design experience to produce work suitable for various print and online marketing campaigns.

This ‘hands-on’ role in graphic design will have a wide exposure to a high volume of tasks and requirements. You will be encouraged to use your creativity and initiative to contribute to the continued growth and success of the Rugby League brand.

Responsibilities

- Photo editing, deep-etching and retouching player imagery with high level of accuracy and attention to detail;

- Assist the Senior Graphic Designer in producing innovative, inspiring and consistent high-quality brand collateral according to guidelines, including but not limited to static and animated outputs;

- Assist in coordinating the delivery of members and fan marketing communications;

- Design and animate outputs across a variety of mediums including digital and print. Assist with coordinating gameday, membership and merchandise advertising campaigns;

- Create and work within current and new design templates;

- Manage multiple concurrent projects whilst adhering to specific deadlines;

- Assist the media team as and when required;

- Manage internal photo libraries including CC libraries;

- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to understand their marketing requirements.

Qualifications

- 1-2 years experience in graphic design role in a fast-paced working environment;

- Demonstrate a high level of competency across Adobe Suite particularly CC Libraries, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator;

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in design or equivalent;

- Experience with After Effects will be highly regarded;

- Effective time management and prioritisation skills;

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team;

- An interest in sport, particularly Rugby League would be advantageous;

- Ability to think laterally and create unique designs that capture attention;

- Exceptional organisational and project management attributes;

- Motivated with a positive, can-do attitude.
