- Working term time only ($51,415pa (1.0FTE) + 6 Weeks Additional Leave + 11.5% superannuation)

The Role
Be part of a highly skilled and committed team driven to help young people realise their potential, with the opportunity to work across a multi-campus school setting.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
- Identifying students’ learning needs, skills, and difficulties as they arise and working under the guidance of the relevant Individual Needs Advisor to respond to these concerns.
- Maintaining confidential weekly student notes on Microsoft Teams to monitor their progress.
- Understanding a student’s identified learning difficulties and offering assistance in the classroom.
- Liaising with Individual Needs Advisor and the teaching staff to maintain a comprehensive support program and track student progress.
- Assisting students to deal with adjusted curriculum where necessary under the guidance of the classroom teacher and the Individual Needs Advisor.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and respond to different learning needs and strengths of all students in classrooms.
- Demonstrated ability to form a positive rapport with staff and students and build collaborative relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong proficiency using business software such as Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Highly developed verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills, including managing time and meeting deadlines.
- Experience working with children from a culturally and/or linguistically diverse background.
- Recognised Education support qualification preferable.
- Highly organised with a ‘can do’ attitude to all projects.
- Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
