We have a large social work team with social work clinicians in a range of Acute, Sub Acute, Community & Outpatient settings. The Role: We are currently looking to fill a number of fixed term opportunities across the service. Social workers within Hospitals & Primary Care work as vital members of the Allied Health and multidisciplinary team to support comprehensive patient care and the delivery of services to meet need. This role may be used for additional vacancies. You will need: - Comprehensive knowledge of Social Work theory as it applies to practice in an acute care hospital. - Ability to practice Social Work in an acute care hospital or community-based setting, with the ability to provide psycho-social assessments, casework and group work appropriate to the needs of the client group. - Ability to be self- motivated and self-directed and to optimise the use of resources. Details of appointment: Fixed term full time, day worker position, working 76hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 30 June 2026. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Salary:$73,834 to $111,364 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. - Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022 Salary Packaging: You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
