Overview

Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery, improvement, research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services.

This is one year part time or full time fellowship in Cardiac EP (2x 0.5 FTE). There are two positions available.

Responsibilities

- Lead research and quality improvement in all aspects of heart rhythm management at the Alfred.
- Prepare patients for electrophysiology procedures.
- Liaise with the inpatient service regarding heart rhythms.
- Teach advanced trainees and participate in the outpatient clinic.
- Support an Alfred affiliated regional clinic.

Qualifications

- Completed at least three years of Advanced Training in Clinical Cardiology and have completed FRACP (Part 2) or a recognized equivalent.
- Candidates will need AHPRA registration.
- Preference will be given to candidates who are pursuing a PhD.
