An exciting opportunity exists for a GP Medical Educator to work in the Broken Hill GP Super Clinic.

This position includes:

- High remuneration package
- Accommodation support
- Working with enthusiastic team of GPs, nurses and allied health professionals
- 1-3 year contract
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners or Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine
- Clinical management and modern approaches in assessment and management of the broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions
- Demonstrated highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with experience in relating to a range of stakeholders
- Good organisational skills, time management and adaptability
- Demonstrated high level of initiative, conceptual and analytical thinking
- Demonstrated high level of attention to detail
- Work effectively within a team environment and the ability to work independently
- Prior experience in GP education training is desired but not essential as training packages / opportunities exist.

- The Broken Hill General Practice Super Clinic (BHGPSC) is a fully accredited facility offering multidisciplinary, patient focused care and services. BHGPSC provides a wide range of patient services at one convenient location, allowing for more effective communication among doctors, nurses and allied health professionals to offer a holistic approach to patient care.
- Friendly and collegial work environment with a team of other GPs and GP Supervisors that will continue to support your growth.
- BHGPSC is committed to train GPs, PGY1 and PGY2 under various programs and in the last 8 years has trained 26 GP Registrars and supported 24 medical students for extended skills rotations; as well as facilitating clinical placements for nursing, allied health and pharmacy students.
- The practice incorporates 22 consulting rooms, onsite well-equipped gym, onsite pharmacy and radiology.
