Electrical Design Engineer - Tasmania (Australia)

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure technical excellence and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and development of complex electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, and automation systems.

- Prepare detailed technical specifications, schematics, and single-line diagrams.

- Ensure all designs meet Australian electrical standards and safety regulations.

- Conduct analysis and testing to validate system performance and reliability.

- Provide mentorship and technical support to junior engineers.

Qualifications & Skills

- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical design, ideally in water, industrial, or manufacturing sectors.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PowerCAD or similar design software.

- Strong understanding of Australian electrical standards and regulations.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
