The Role

We are seeking a passionate and flexible Creative Arts Specialist Teacher.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement an engaging Visual Arts curriculum for Years 7–12.

- Apply evidence‑based pedagogy and maintain a supportive and positive classroom environment.

- Effectively manage student behaviour and foster a constructive learning culture.

- Collaborate with colleagues; contribute to professional learning communities.

- Engage in regular self‑reflection to enhance teaching practice.

Qualifications & Experience

- Eligible teacher qualification and registration.

- Excellent curriculum knowledge in Visual Arts and proven experience in Visual Art teaching.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Commitment to professional excellence and continuous development.

Eligibility

- Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.

- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of appointment.

- Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before starting.

- Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before starting.
