Drill and Hydraulic Mining Shovel Experience is also desirable, but not essential.**What you’ll be doing** As a Field Service Fitter at Hastings Deering, you will:* **Deliver quality service –** carry out maintenance and repairs to the highest standard, ensuring our customers’ equipment performs at its best.* **Follow the right procedures –** research and consult the correct and latest service information systems for specific procedures, instructions and specifications.* **Do it once, do it right –** take every step to ensure workmanship is fault-free ensuring quality in the finished product and any rework is avoided.* **Work to schedule –** complete assigned tasks within required timeframes while maintaining safety and quality.* **Keep customers informed –** involve customers in major repair decisions and provide clear updates on job progress.* **Support genuine parts sales–** promote and advise on the use of genuine Caterpillar parts to maximise performance and reliability.Hastings Deering is proud to be one of the top 5 Caterpillar dealerships globally.
