About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Finance & Risk Officer, this position plays a pivotal role in enhancing financial system functionality, ensuring integration across platforms, and delivering process efficiencies that improve operational performance.

This is a unique opportunity to lead end-to-end finance system initiatives, working closely with stakeholders across Finance, Business Transformation, and Information Technology. The role encompasses system governance, process re-engineering, data integrity, and the coordination of ongoing enhancements, upgrades, and user support.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the optimisation of finance-related systems and processes to drive efficiency, automation, and reporting accuracy

Maintain and enhance business capability maps and finance process documentation

Coordinate the integration of CRM and business systems with Microsoft Business Central

Manage financial data integrity, including master data structures, approval matrices, and internal controls

Deliver training and support to end users, and promote the effective use of reporting tools including Jet Reports and Adaptive Planning

Collaborate with stakeholders to align system functionality with evolving business requirements

Manage vendor relationships and lead RFP/RFI processes for finance system upgrades and enhancements

Support compliance activities, including year-end rollover, financial reporting, and audit readiness

About You

You will bring significant experience in financial systems and process improvement, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and enterprise technology platforms. Your ability to translate financial and operational needs into scalable system solutions will be key to your success.

Essential qualifications and experience include:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline

CA or CPA qualification

Demonstrated experience in finance systems administration and integration

Proficiency in process mapping, automation, and business analysis

Strong technical capabilities in Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Microsoft Office

Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Business Central) and Adaptive Planning

High-level written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence across teams

Certification in Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or Business Process Management

Experience in vendor and contract management

Prior experience in not-for-profit, health, or education sectors
