Ipswich Girls’ Grammar School is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and dedicated Mathematics & Science Teacher to join our collaborative academic team. This is a fixed-term position, working full-time in Semester 1 and 0.4 FTE in Semester 2, with the potential for additional hours through relief teaching assignments.
The role primarily supports middle school students (Years 7–10) in Mathematics and Science. Experience and capability in teaching Senior Mathematics (Years 11–12) will be highly regarded.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience developing and delivering comprehensive mathematics academic program within the Australian curriculum, and
- Be passionate about teaching and enriching the learning experience of students.
- Differentiate the curriculum by employing a variety of instructional techniques and strategies aligned with instructional objectives, to meet the needs of all students.
- Experience monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on student progress within the curriculum area, using data analysis to inform classroom strategies for student development and improvement.
- The ability to develop confidence and self-esteem in students and to act as a role model in presentation, action, and communication.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with highly developed organisational, communication and administrative skills.
- Ability to participation in grounds’ supervision on a regular rostered basis.
- Eligibility to work in Australia with relevant teaching qualifications and current registration, or eligibility for registration, with the Queensland College of Teachers being highly regarded.
