Urgent: Business Analyst

Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the successful delivery of a major Data Historian Project within a large and complex organisation. This is a 12-month contract based in Brisbane CBD, with occasional travel to regional offices.

Working as part of the ICT PMO, you will play a key role in gathering and validating business and data requirements, identifying process improvement opportunities, and producing detailed documentation to support the implementation of a centralised data historian platform.

Key Responsibilities:

- Gather, analyse, and validate business and technical requirements
- Conduct stakeholder analysis and support project planning and estimation
- Perform data analysis to uncover insights and support informed decision-making
- Create business cases, user stories, process models, and visual documentation (e.g. mock-ups, wireframes)
- Translate requirements for technical teams and ensure solution alignment
- Provide data visualisation and reporting for operational users
- Apply business analysis best practices in an Agile delivery environment
- Build effective working relationships across internal teams and external service providers

About You:

- 7+ years' experience as a Business Analyst within ICT project delivery
- Proven experience working in Agile environments
- Strong background in data-focused projects and business process improvement
- Proficiency in SQL, data analytics, and data visualisation techniques
- Prior experience with Aveva, OSISoft PI System, or other Data Historian technologies
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- A current driver's licence is essential due to occasional regional travel requirements
