Overview

Senior Financial Accountant – Ongoing Full-Time

The NSW Police Force (NSWPF) is one of the largest police forces in the western world, with more than 20,000 employees, including more than 4,000 administrative staff supporting sworn officers who operate 24/7 to serve NSW communities.

We are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance & Business Services Command. The role supports financial accounting and reporting within the NSWPF Financial Reporting and Tax Team, reporting to the Manager Financial Accounting. Responsibilities include maintenance, development and implementation of policies, procedures and systems for identification, recording, valuation, accounting and reporting of NSWPF assets.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include: supporting the financial accounting and reporting function; maintaining, developing and implementing policies, procedures and systems for asset identification, recording, valuation, accounting and reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Must meet one of the following statuses: a permanent resident of Australia; or a New Zealand citizen.
- Prior to commencement, undergo a National Police (criminal history) Check and obtain/maintain a Security Clearance as determined by NSW Police Force.

Total Remuneration Package: Base salary ranges from $129,464 to $142,665 plus employer superannuation of 12% and annual leave loading.
