You will be working with a company based in Lidcombe, that is part of a global group known for engineering and technical excellence.
You will join a fast‑paced, project‑driven environment as a Financial Accountant to support their growing Australian operations. You will be the go‑to person for Tax and financial reporting requirements, while also supporting with FP&A, process/systems improvement projects.
Paying up to 130k + Super and based on‑site initially, but with WFH flexibility after the initial period.
There is also fantastic flexibility around start/finish times, to suit your lifestyle/commitments. Even as early as 6:30/7am

The opportunity

What you’ll be doing
This is a broad role, combining compliance, reporting and process improvement. You’ll work closely with the Commercial Finance Manager and play a key part in ensuring the integrity of financial results, while helping the business transition to a new ERP system.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial reports.
- Support the Commercial Finance Manager with reconciliations, journals, and month‑end close.
- Manage statutory and compliance requirements including BAS, IAS, and payroll tax.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Assist with the implementation of a new ERP system (Dynamics 365).
- Ensure accuracy in WIP, invoicing and service‑based revenue recognition.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and internal controls.
- Partner with operations and project teams to provide accurate, timely financial information.
What we’re looking for
You’ll bring strong accounting foundations and the confidence to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- CPA or CA qualified, those studying towards will still be considered.
- Proven financial accounting experience (ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or service‑based environments).
- Strong understanding of Australian accounting and compliance requirements.
- Confident managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and communication skills.
- Systems savvy. Prior experience with ERP systems and Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
- A friendly, approachable team player who can work with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
