Overview

Looking for a role where you can step away from BAU accounting and actually impact how finance systems operate?

If you love finance systems and business partnering, this one is for you You will be at the heart of Tech, Finance and Operations across the business.

This is your chance to join a national business undergoing a major transformation project. You’ll be at the core of an ERP and FP&A system rollout, working closely with senior finance and IT leaders to make sure processes, reporting and data flows are built for the future.

You will be based in Notting Hill, Victoria and is paying up to 140k + Super, with flexibility for exceptional candidates. In this role, you will get huge autonomy in your work and flexibility around start/finish times. If you are a self-starting problem solver, this is your perfect role

The details

- Hands-off leadership team, who will give you the space to make this role your own.
- Some interstate travel, including regular trips to Brisbane in the first year.
- Circa $140k + super + laptop + phone (flexibility up for outstanding candidates).
- Based in Notting Hill, Vic. 5 days on-site, with flexibility around start/finish times

What you’ll be doing

- Driving ERP and reporting system projects, with a focus on Odoo ERP and Jedox FP&A.
- Translating accounting needs (revenue recognition, WIP, job costing, asset accounting) into system functionality.
- Configuring and testing workflows, user roles, permissions, and reporting structures.
- Leading workshops, training sessions, and end-user adoption.
- Validating complex revenue cycles, including achieved sales through to WIP and completion.
- Championing continuous improvement across finance processes and controls.
- Working hand-in-hand with finance managers, IT, and operational teams across the country.

What we’re looking for

- A strong accounting foundation – CA/CPA preferred or equivalent experience.
- ERP knowledge, with prior Odoo experience highly desirable.
- Experience in change management, process improvement, and systems adoption.
- Hands-on system configuration and testing experience.
- Strong grasp of debits, credits, and accounting flows.
- Excellent communicator – confident leading training and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive, extroverted, and able to work autonomously without micromanagement.
