Set within the picturesque One Mile Ingenia Holiday Park,The Beach House Restaurant & Baris more than just a place to eat, it’s a destination where relaxed beachside charm meets fresh, vibrant hospitality. We serve up a delicious mix of classic pub favourites and modern coastal cuisine, all crafted with the best local produce and seafood.

We’re currently looking for a talented and enthusiasticCookto join our kitchen team. This is your chance to bring your culinary skills to the coast and be part of a vibrant, welcoming crew.

In this role, you’ll prepare and present high-quality meals using fresh, local ingredients, help maintain a clean and safe kitchen, and support smooth service during busy periods. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love working with food, this could be the perfect fit.

This is acasual position, with the opportunity to pick up additional hours during peak seasons.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve meals to a high standard, following menu guidelines and minimising waste.
- Manage stock efficiently; ordering, receiving, and rotating to ensure freshness and compliance with food safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area, including equipment and surfaces.
- Work collaboratively with your team to create a positive and productive environment.
- Follow all WHS and food safety procedures, including audits, chemical handling, and accurate record-keeping.

About You

- Previous food safety training and a solid understanding of HACCP principles.
- Experience in food preparation and cooking, with strong communication and basic budgeting skills.
- A proactive, respectful team player who takes feedback well and contributes to a positive work culture.
- Ability to manage time effectively, stay calm under pressure, and maintain high standards.
- Comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, standing for long periods, and using kitchen equipment safely with PPE.
