We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Casual Educators to join our team at St Peter’s Outside School Hours Care in Caboolture. St Peter’s Outside School Hours Care has been a part of the community since 1990. The OSHC operates from a dedicated space with the school grounds. We provide before school care, after school care, and vacation care for up to 135 children, fostering a fun, safe, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow. We are seeking dedicated individuals who love working with primary school-aged children and are committed to supporting their development in a positive and nurturing atmosphere. Apply today

A day in the life of an OSHC Educator…

- Providing nurturing care for children

- Ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment

- Create fun recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all.

- Maintain positive working relationships with all team members.

- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.

Responsibilities

- Provide nurturing care for children and contribute to a safe, stimulating environment.

- Assist with planning and delivering age-appropriate activities for primary school-aged children.

- Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs in a play-based setting.

Qualifications

- Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (ACECQA equivalent), or working towards desirable.

- Holder of a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or willingness to obtain one.

- A passion for the education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment.

- Effective workplace communication skills.
