**About the Role**

This exceptional internship offers an unparalleled opportunity for an Indigenous intern to join the dynamic team at the ARDC, contributing to the vital field of Indigenous Data Governance. As a valued member of the Indigenous Data Network, you will collaborate closely with the Director of HASS and Indigenous Data Commons, fostering innovation and championing best practices in research, data management, and preservation. This role not only nurtures your professional growth but also contributes to the larger goal of empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander graduates for impactful careers in research infrastructure.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Provide administrative support for the project management of the IIRC
- Provide support to the program manager of the HASS RDC in relation to activities related to Indigenous data, governance, and other activities.
- Build and sustain relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders

**Who We Are Looking For**
You excel in project management, diverse admin support, and discreet communication. Comfortable with varied data, teamwork, and deadlines, you're motivated to contribute.

You will also have:

- Possession of Cert III/IV, Diploma/Advanced Diploma, or bachelor’s degree in any discipline, with preference given to those with Health, Education, Indigenous Studies, or Data Science background.
- Completion of any other relevant courses that may complement and contribute to the internship.
- Familiarity with data management, analysis, and database systems, including metadata standards.
- Demonstrated experience of engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organizations and communities.
