**Kira Child Care Centre **offers **free on-site parking **and is close to **all public transport.**

At Kira, one of their main assets is the outdoor natural spaces that they have in an inner city location. With a belief that traditionally indoor activities can also be enjoyed outdoors, children between 6 weeks and 6 years of age are supported in exploration and physical activity.

**The Role**

We are currently looking for a **Certificate III **qualified educator to take on a support contract. This role is subsidised through relevant State and Federal programs to assist in the inclusion of children with additional needs within KU centres. As an additional educator you will provide extra support to the team with their daily routines and programs.

This role is working **5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, during NSW school term times. **Potential for this to be split into 2 or 3 days would also be considered.
**Start date 27 **th **April 2023 until 30 **th **June 2023. **Potential to extend, pursuant to funding.

**To be considered for this role, it is essential you have**:

- A recognised Certificate III in Children's Services qualification or similar as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA)
- A valid NSW Employee Working with Children Check
- Child Protection training and knowledge of current legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
- Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF, Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
