**The Program**
The F-35 Joint Strike Fighter provides RAAF an advanced capability and the aircraft is supported by complex, unique ICT infrastructure and mission systems.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
Great opportunity for an experienced Project / Program Manager who is looking for a senior role. As the Program Manager you will be responsible for leading the Australian F-35A Training Support Services Program Management Office, utilising shared access to LMA functional support across Program Management, Finance, Commercial, Subcontracts, Data Management and Export/Import support
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Develop, manage, maintain and report relevant Program Management metrics to the customer and the Training Operations Manager (tasking lead)
- Develop, implement, effectively communicate and maintain Program charter.
- Own, develop and maintain a Training Support Services Program plan and integrated master schedule that addresses overall Program needs.
- Manage Program cost, schedule and complex technical requirements in accordance with approved Program Plans.
- Be a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholder engagement in support of achieving required Program outcomes.
- Report on progress and status of all Program activities / deliverables as required
**About you**:
Essential skills and experience:
- Extensive exposure to the Australian Defence industry and ASDEFCON.
- Excellent communication skills with extensive experience engaging, influencing and successfully managing internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in the program management support of large scale military systems.
- Advanced planning and organisational skills.
- Outstanding ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all program levels
Desirable
- Extensive experience in the program management support of large scale military training systems.
- Knowledge of, and experience with, project Jericho and other aerospace 5th Generation activities.
- Advanced ability to conduct Control Account Management using Earned Value Management techniques.
- Understanding and experience in US International Trafficking in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Australian export/import rules.
**Special Requirements**:
Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold a current NV1 CoA clearance with the ability to obtain a & maintain CoA NV2 security clearance.
