Opal Packaging is an industry-leading packaging business across New Zealand and Australia. Currently our Opal Kiwi Packaging team have an exciting opportunity as we are currently looking for a Logistics Supervisor to come onboard.

The key focus of this role will be to:

- Uphold the safe and effective operation of the despatch/ finished goods area
- Ensure that all deliveries are on time, and presentation is as required.
- Monitoring the despatch department’s time sheets, recording, and reporting any unusual circumstances.
- Ensure regular team meetings take place with an emphasis on HS&E, continuous improvement and reporting to the team its performance
- Ensure pallets are collected, sorted and in good order available for production use.
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to optimize warehouse activities

For this role we would ideally like you to have:

- A current F endorsed drivers’ licence and a current OSH Forklift licence is required
- Forklift driving experience is required for this role
- 4+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment
- Experience in leading/ supervising teams
- Experience in using RF scanners would be viewed favourably
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence and a positive attitude
