**About the role**

As a dynamic and innovative member of our school community, you will:

- Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes
- Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement.

**At BCE our teachers are required to**:

- Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration; and
- Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

We have a dedicated support team with two Support Teachers Inclusive Education, a behaviour support teacher, curriculum & pedagogy teacher, four support school officers, along with a dedicated learning school officer for each year level, and a full time guidance counsellor, Additionally the school's offers two additional days release, per term, for planning. This is on top of the mandated planning, preparation and correction time. We believe that we support not only the students and families of St Bernardine's, but just as importantly, the staff too.**
