**Help to build the teaching profile within the School of Nursing at Charles Darwin University (CDU).**
**About the Position**
As the Lecturer in Nursing, you will be involved in independent teaching, delivering quality education in accordance with academic policies and discipline-specific professional standards. The contribution to teaching will be primarily at undergraduate, honours, and postgraduate level in Higher Education Units. The role will also engage in independent scholarship and professional activities appropriate to the profession or discipline. You may be required to perform the full academic responsibilities of, and related administration for, the co-ordination of an award program of the University. The Lecturer in Nursing also participates in Clinical Teaching, Unit Coordination, Curriculum writing as required.
**About You**
To be successful, you will require:
- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse.
- Masters degree qualification in Nursing or in a related field.
- Demonstrated record of Higher Education teaching, curriculum development, and assessment experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles in working in Higher Education, enabling and equity programs, providing supportive education to people from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds and varying age groups.
- Ability and willingness to contribute to unit/program resource and development within the context and requirements of a quality education provider.
- Excellent professional teamwork and communication skills, including oral, written, information communication technology (ICT) and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and use flexible/online computer-based learning materials to suit the needs of a diverse student body.

**Remuneration**
Appointment to this role will be at Teaching Focused Academic Level B. The base salary will be in the range of $110,500 - $130,649 per annum. **The total remuneration package will be in the range of $129,285 - $152,859 per annum, including 17% superannuation.**
