**OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE**

At FizzKidz, we are currently experiencing an exhilarating phase of growth. With the rapid expansion from a single studio to 4, and a team of over 50 talented individuals, we are poised for even greater success. This growth necessitates the need for strategic planning, cultivating a positive culture, and streamlining our operations to ensure we continue delivering exceptional experiences to children.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**
- Provide operational and strategic support to the Director to develop and implement operational and strategic plans, manage projects, and provide research and analysis to support decision-making.
- Serve as a liaison between the Director and other departments, communicating priorities, goals, and expectations to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Oversee internal operational strategy in the Director’s absence, including working with the head of HR to manager the employee life cycle of all staff members, working with the Head of Customer Service to organize the event's roster and develop the customer growth strategy, working with the Studio Managers to develop studio strategy and effective rostering, and working with Head of IT to oversee digital strategy and effective roll-out.
- Manage the operations team, including weekly 1:1s with Studio Managers; the Head of HR, the Head of Customer Service, and the Head of IT.
- Oversee the Roster and Fizz Kidz calendar, including making future planning decisions, developing upcoming event rosters, coordinating with teams, and ensuring smooth event operations across the company.
- Oversee the culture of Fizz Kidz, including employee engagement and well-being, career development, hiring, preparing effective communication and professional development training.
- Develop and implement policies on a needs basis to ensure that Fizz Kidz meets all legal requirements, such as health and safety regulations.
- First point of contact for all Studio Managers, including over the weekends. Audit and observe programs across all studios to ensure they are being run to standard and staff meet the required standards of excellence. Step in to facilitate parties and programs when studio managers require urgent assistance.
- Ensure facilitators, supervisors, and managers attend rostered shifts (and high-performing) and support studio managers to understand when it is appropriate to remove staff from rosters when they repeatedly fail to attend shifts.
- Conduct regular staff performance assessments and provide feedback to studio managers regarding necessary interventions, such as coaching or warnings, to improve staff performance and availability at FizzKidz.
- Oversee the school's program throughout term, including coordinating the inventory, arranging the appropriate staff required to complete this task, and work with internal administration to liaise and provide professional customer service to the schools.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Preferably a bachelor's degree in business, management, education, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role or role with transferable skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including a half day on the weekend to show in store presence.
- Have a valid working with children’s check.
