An exciting opportunity exists for a full-time APS 6 Project/Policy
Officer to join the ACAR Transition Section, supporting the delivery
of significant reforms to residential aged care (Places to People).
A new residential aged care system is being designed and
implemented, with a person-centred approach that places older
Australians first. Places will be assigned to older Australians and
this will provide them with more choice and control over which
provider delivers their care.
We're looking for a dynamic individual with good attention-to-detail
will work to support the design and implementation of the new
residential aged care system. You will report to the Assistant
Director, and work collaboratively as part of a Multi-Disciplinary
Team across the Market and Workforce Division (MWD) and the
Digital Transformation and Delivery Division (DTDD).
You will lead critical project management functions and maintain
stakeholder relationships to ensure the successful delivery of the
Places to People Project. You will also have the opportunity to
expand your policy skills and contribute to the delivery of
communications activities to support aged care providers and older
Australians in transitioning to the new system.
