**Project Operations Supervisor - Earthworks**

**About the role**

We seek a Project Operations Supervisor - Earthworks who will prioritize safety and respect while leading remote earthworks operations. This role involves supervising earthworks contractors with a strong focus on safety and everyday respect, managing field logistics, ensuring accurate regulatory and internal data recording, and providing QAQC and operational support for exploration projects.
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with a proven remote field operational experience, earthworks background (desirable but not essential), and field experience to play a vital role within the Operations support team. The Project operations officer - Earthworks must enjoy irregular travel, being part of small exploration teams, and working in remote locations. Train/coach team members on HSEC policies, procedures, and operating skills.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Led small teams of contractors and camp field staff.
- Supervise earthworks contractors in the field, including establishing access tracks, drill site pads and rehabilitation.
- Work with project managers and the ground disturbance approval team to understand project requirements, advise, plan, and implement, as well as project operational support and logistics needs.
- Record ground disturbance data, construction and rehabilitation, and contractor QAQC by permit requirements.
- Providing generalist skills across a range of tasks and activities, including remote camp establishment, ongoing Contractor Supervision, Environmental and Safety processes
- Supervising and overseeing the work of contractors in the field to ensure adherence to compliance, Health, Safety, Environment and Community (HSEC) and project standards.

- Ability to assess Earthmoving project needs, coordinate logistics and operational support tasks and prioritise work to achieve project outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to solve operational problems, adapt to change quickly and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency
**It will also be beneficial if you have**
- Field Project coordinator experience
- Experience in Supervision and management of Earthworks contractors,
- Proven ability to develop positive and productive team relationships with a wide range of people
- Computer literacy, ArcGIS / MapInfo experience, Field maps/Avanza,Excel, GPS (arrow)
- HR, LF High-Risk License
- Earthmoving experience (Preferred but not essential)
