The Group HSE Systems Manager - Technical is responsible for leading the technical aspects of the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Health, Safety, and Environment Management Systems (HSEMS) across the organization. This role involves a strong emphasis on leveraging technology, data analytics, and innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HSE systems.

**Key Areas of Responsibility**
- Design and architect the technical framework of the Group Health, Safety and Environment Management System.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of HSE software solutions, including crisis and event management, chemical management, in vehicle monitoring system, lone worker, auditing tool, SharePoint, Contractor HSE Management.
- Ensure the seamless integration of HSE software with existing IT infrastructure.
- Develop and implement data analytics strategies to extract meaningful insights from HSE data.
- Generate advanced reports and dashboards for key stakeholders including executive leadership, providing real-time visibility to HSE performance.
- Identify opportunities for digitalization and automation of HSE processes to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy.
- Collaborate with IT to integrate HSE systems with other enterprise systems.
- Implement and maintain a centralized database structure for HSE data management.
- Complete monthly reporting for parent company and executives
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure user proficiency.
- Any other duties appropriate to the level and responsibility of the position as required.

**Person Specification**
- Demonstrated experience and exposure to managing and continually improving HSE, including management systems across a global, multi-site organisation
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, an excellent communicator both oral and written with the ability to develop lasting relationships
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Positive attitude, with positive contribution to teamwork, and sound people and team development skills
- Be able to undertake tasks with mínimal instruction using effective time management and organisational skills
- Multi-disciplined and ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment, including management of conflicting priorities
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to write effective reports
- Committed and motivated to achieving Company and team vision, goals and objectives
- Ability to travel on assignments as required both nationally and internationally

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Bachelor or diploma in HSE or related field high desirable
- Substantial experience in developing and managing technical aspects of HSE management systems.
- Strong knowledge of data analytics, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies relevant to HSE
- Previous experience in implementing and managing HSE software solutions.
- Appropriate leadership and supervisory experience
- Holds, or ability to obtain Australian National Police Clearance
- Current and clean Drivers licence essential
