This is a permanent Brisbane based position with projectscurrently across the residential sector.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Implement and ensure operation of the quality assurance and control systems, by planning and conducting internal quality audits
- Ensure project works are in accordance with our clients Construction’s Quality Policies, Plans and Procedures
- Ensure project team effectively manage the quality performance of subcontractors and implement improvements as required
- Effectively manage the quality performance of subcontractors and implement improvements as required
- Strong knowledge of management systems, such as ISO9000 and Australian Standards
- Strong understanding of compliance requirements of relevant authorities such as Council, Building Code of Australia (BCA) and Building Regulations
- Perform inspections to verify compliance of quality policies across all sites
- Educate and provide guidance to the project teams to ensure improvement of quality outcomes onsite
- Plan and implement Inspection Test Plans according to project requirements
- Provide adequate training / awareness of company employees for quality systems
- Ensure customer satisfaction is monitored and improvement and corrective actions are taken where required
- Ensure all non-conformance issues are investigated promptly and prevention actions implemented
- Ensure that all subcontractors quality systems and plans are acceptable to the company

**Qualifications & Experience required**:

- Experience in a similar Quality Manager role in construction space
- Sound knowledge of Australian Standards (e.g. AS/NZS 9001:2008), Industry Codes and Procedures
- Exposure to Building projects will be highly beneficial
- Ability to assist multiple teams and be a positive driving force
