**About this opportunity**

Reporting to the Manager CSR & Sustainability, this role involves:

- Collaborating across the business to enhance the environmental and social sustainability outcomes of the tram network
- Engage closely with Facilities, Supply Chain & Procurement, Network Projects, Operations and other teams, to identify and deliver sustainability opportunities.
- Support the implementation of Yarra Trams’ environmental and social sustainability program
- Support the implementation of Yarra Trams’ community investment initiatives, including leading the delivery of the Yarra Trams Community Partnerships Program
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to identify and implement sustainability initiatives
- Support the collection and management of non-financial sustainability data, and prepare sustainability reporting
- Support the internal sustainability program through employee engagement activities

**About you**

Ideally you will have:

- Tertiary qualification in Sustainability, Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- 1-3 years’ experience in a corporate sustainability/corporate responsibility role or related capabilities
- A genuine commitment and passion for sustainability, with high levels of enthusiasm and drive to achieve results
- Experience in the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to develop credibility and trust with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate quantitative data into qualitative messages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
