The opportunity

As Strategic Sourcing Advisor, reporting to the Senior Advisor, Strategic Sourcing within the Thiess Talent Acquisition Team, you will take great pride in working collaboratively whilst expertly business partnering with people leaders to deliver medium to long term strategic sourcing initiatives to support business operations, future projects and business growth. In this critical role, your key focus will be on the identification and attraction of passive talent through proactive networking and talent searching, rapidly facilitating key introductions across the business for existing or future vacancies.

This opportunity is based in our Brisbane Head Office. We encourage a hybrid working environment, offering you the flexibility to work both from our stunning South Bank offices, and remote.

**Responsibilities will include**:
Supporting the Senior Advisor Strategic Sourcing and Manager Talent Acquisition Australia to deliver on innovative talent sourcing initiatives for the benefit of the business

Cultivating talent pipelines through internal and external networking, coupled with the expert use of LinkedIn Recruiter (experience essential)

Embracing innovation and consistently challenging yourself to think of authentic and new ideas to attract critical talent globally

Collaborating with and supporting the Strategic Sourcing Lead and Manager Talent Acquisition Australia to deliver innovative and impactful social media and talent attraction campaigns

Leading by example in all that you do, modelling positive and productive behaviours, a growth mindset attitude, compliance to talent acquisition processes (end to end recruitment) and more

Proactively developing internal and external relationships, seeking out opportunities for positive change and improvement

Contributing to the continuous review, improvement and implementation of talent acquisition procedures and processes

About You

Significant talent sourcing and recruitment experience ideally within heavy industry (mining preferred)

Demonstrated strong talent networks within a similar industry

Excellent time management skills and drive to deliver

An unwavering focus on achievement of results for our clients (e.g. internal people leaders, potential new hires)

A positive attitude and ability to remain solutions-focused

Experience in multi-site, multiple-stakeholder engagement
