**The role**

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Early Childhood Assistant to join our dedicated team servicing our highly regarded Early Learning Centre and Holiday Programs in Margaret Thomas House.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high quality care and innovative programs that support the children’s learning within a safe and stimulating environment.

This is a full-time role, immediate start from Term 2, 2023.
- Hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) or a higher qualification.
- Demonstrated relevant experience in a similar role desirable.
- A strong alignment with the values of the Reggio Emilia Educational Approach
- Highly motivated, committed to work collaboratively with others, demonstrating our School values of Dignity, Respect, Care and Compassion
- Demonstrated ability to build authentic, collaborative and respectful relationships.
- A strong community and service ethic and commitment to deliver exceptional service.
- Possess a positive outlook, exceptional interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence.
- Display a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Have a current Employee Working with Children Check or be willing to obtain.
- Hold current Mandatory Reporting, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates, or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement.
- Must have a current National Police Check (obtained within the last 6 months) or be willing to obtain prior to commencement.
