With our expanding network of gym locations, each featuring an integrated retail store, we are seeking a National Gym and Retail Operations Manager to oversee and elevate our retail and gym operations across South Australia and Western Australia.

THE OPPORTUNITY

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and optimise the performance of Ryderwear’s gym and retail operations across all locations, ensuring brand consistency and operational efficiency.
- Drive retail sales growth by developing and implementing innovative retail strategies, merchandising techniques, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with Gym Managers to ensure the retail stores are seamlessly integrated with the gym operations, enhancing the overall customer experience.
- Provide expert guidance on visual merchandising, store layout, and product assortment to maximise retail sales and customer engagement.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess store performance, provide on-site training, and implement best practices in retail management.
- Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth, product development, and inventory management.
- Foster a culture of excellence in customer service, ensuring all staff are trained to deliver high standards of service and product knowledge.
- Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align retail strategies with overall brand initiatives and product launches.
- Manage retail and gym operational budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and financial performance.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Significant experience in multi-site retail management, with a strong focus on store development, sales growth, and visual merchandising.
- Proven track record of improving retail environments and achieving sales targets within a fitness, apparel, or lifestyle brand.
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate teams across gym and retail operations.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends, translating them into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organisation.
- Passionate about the fitness industry, with a keen understanding of the activewear market and consumer behaviour.
- Flexibility to travel between locations and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field preferred.
