**Colac Neighbourhood House Coordinator**
Permanent Part Time - 25 Hours per week
- Colac Area Health is a values based organisation providing a unique integrated health service comprising of over 500 employees, providing Acute Care, Aged Care, Community and Allied Health Services.
- Colac Area Health auspices the Colac Neighbourhood House. The Neighbourhood House Coordination Program funded though DHHS supports the provision of community development programs and activities that lead to community strengthening. These activities maximise opportunities for social connection, inclusion and community participation. The programs and activities promote lifelong learning, respecting diversity and to be welcoming and inclusive to all. The program develops sustainable responses to community needs in partnership with community members and stakeholders.

**What’s required?**
- Relevant tertiary qualification in community development.
- Demonstrated experience of working within community development principles and practices.
- High level administrative, organisational and negotiation skills and experience in day to day management of a community based facility.
- Demonstrated strategic planning and program development skills.
- Demonstrated experience in creatively meeting unmet needs within the community.
- Demonstrated experience in working in outcomes focussed partnerships that improve community capacity and resilience.
- Ability to identify community needs and to plan, develop, monitor and evaluate high quality programs to meet those needs.
- Ability to manage resources to meet demand efficiently.
- Demonstrated experience in being successful for funding grants.
- Demonstrated experience of high level inter personal and leadership skills.
- Sound computer literacy.
- Current Drivers Licence, WWCC and police check.
