The Orange Door Barwon Team Leader - Colac Access Point

  • Full Time 38 Hours per week
  • Colac Area Health is a values based organisation providing a unique integrated health service comprising of over 500 employees, providing Acute Care, Aged Care, Community Health and Allied Health Services.
  • This role involves both the management and coordination of an integrated team at The Orange Door
  • Barwon Colac Access Point as well as the support, mentoring and development of The Orange Door Practitioner team. Within the integrated model this role will also work collaboratively with an integrated approach across the service system maintaining positive relationships with partner agencies both within The Orange Door and externally in the broader service system.

What's required?
- _ Expert knowledge and experience working in community services leadership roles including expertise and capability to embed evidence-based, responsive, collaborative practice in the team._
- _ Demonstrated experience in working with vulnerable children and young people._
- _ Demonstrated experience in risk assessment and risk management including experience in working with families with complex needs and risk issues in a culturally sensitive manner._
- _ Demonstrated cross-sectoral experience in relevant disciplines, including but not limited to a knowledge of the key drivers/causes of family violence, child development, attachment and trauma theories._
- _ Ability to work collaboratively to drive cultural change including a clear understanding of the culture required to drive innovative practices that enhance integrated practice._
- _ Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other key internal and external stakeholders to build strong internal and external networks._
- _ Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet required deadlines whilst monitoring performance against targets._
- _ Current Victorian Employee Working with Children's Check and Victorian Driver's Licence._
- _ Clear National Police History Check_
