**Role**

Lifest HealthCare have an exciting job opportunity in providing care to a NDIS participant with complex physical and mental health needs - Hypoxic Brain Injury. This role requires you to work in a 2:1 ratio - 2 staff to one participant.

This position involves cares like bowel management, medications administrations (S4/S8), PEG feeding, and manual handling tasks: showering, hoist transfer, wheelchair transfer and personal care. Additionally, you will demonstrate knowledge and experience with the use of restrictive practices and complex behaviours. You will receive training by a Registered Nurse with the above cares.

**JOB PERKS**
- Ongoing mentorship and training development conducted by our in-house Registered Nurse and Health Service Coordinator.
- 24/7 support available
- Working in teams of 2:1 and 2 staff on at given time
- 8-hour morning and afternoon shifts and active night shifts

**To be successful in one of these roles, you will have**:

- DSW / AIN or relevant qualification (Cert IV) / Diploma in Nursing
- Experience in working with complex health needs
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate _required_
- Manual handling training
- participant transfer with hoists _desired_
- Driver's License and your own vehicle _required_
- Personal Care experience _required_
- Current Blue & NDIS Worker Clearance Cards _required_
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate _required_
- NDIS Worker Orientation Modules _or willing to obtain_
- COVID-19 Infection Control Module _or willing to obtain_

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
