Female Support Workers

**The job duties include**:

- Managing challenging behaviours.
- Supporting with daily living skills (cooking, cleaning and laundry).
- Documentation and case noting.
- Transport - to medical appointments, family visits and recreational activities.

Please note, personal care (showering, bathing and toiletry) is NOT required in this role.

**Essentials criteria**:

- Willingness or prior experience in mental health (lived or previous work).
- Strong personality and ability to manage those with challenging behaviours.
- Willing to, or completed relevant course in disability, mental health etc.
- NDIS Workers Check, First Aid & CPR, and WWC.
- Own transport.

Work is casual but 24+ hours a week is available. One location with 6-to-8-hour shifts.

Pay rate is according to the SCHADS, starting at $30.00 an hour.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 15/05/2024
