Young Female Nepalese Disability Support Worker (aged in 20s) required to assist a Male client in-home support 3-4 days a week with personal care tasks and domestic tasks, tidying up, meal preparation and laundry.

Successful applicants are those who:

- Can demonstrate availability 3-4 days a week.
- Have experience and an understanding of safe manual handling procedures.
- Can handle challenging behaviours including verbal aggression.
- Can demonstrate confidence in kitchen for meal preparation.
- Can assist with house work.

**Qualification required**:

- Certificate III Disability or higher (preferrable)
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Police Check
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Reliability and flexibility

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Assist clients in the following areas: domestic activities, and activities that assist consumers in meeting their Individual Support Plan needs.
- Develop, maintain, and track each client's progress with progress notes, medication dispensing/administering, and other pertinent information by the end of each work shift.
- Document and record activities, client response to these activities, regulatory requirements, and service requirements by the end of each work shift.
- Communicate and establish appropriate relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Follow the Workplace Health and Safety, procedures and instructions of the organisation.
- Any other duties as directed by Managers and Team Leaders
