**The company**
Globe 24-7 have been selected to source a HR Superintendent for one of their keystone clients.

**The Role**

**Based on site for 3 days (Mon-Wed), then working in Perth 1 day (Thurs) with 3 days off (Fri-Sun).**

You’ll report to the Human Resources Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall development and implementation of effective human resources frameworks, policies, and procedures to support the business objectives, you will be accountable for providing practical, effective, and efficient generalist advice on all employee and industrial relation matters and ensuring the HR Calendar of events is managed appropriately.

This is a hands-on, interesting role which encompasses a broad spectrum of HR and ER activities from liaising with the leadership team to producing documents in relation to HR and ER activities. You will have a HR Administrator reporting to you and will be required to provide the appropriate mentorship and training to enable them to provide the right level of support to the operation and grow in their role.

**About the Duties**
- Assist in defining and delivering HR strategies to build a culture in which employees are engaged and work collectively to achieve results.
- Advising managers and staff on employee relations, HR policies and procedures.
- Managing the annual HR Calendar of events, salary review, performance management, employment contract renewals etc..
- Ensuring accurate records are maintained
- Plan and support key processes with the business that form part of the HR life-cycle such as employee onboarding and off boarding
- Partner with operational and business support managers to successfully deliver people performance strategies, including performance management, remuneration and benefits and talent management initiatives.
- Advising and coaching on employee relations matters to customers with a focus on early intervention and people centricity.
- Participate & lead HR projects
- Driving change with a focus on continuous improvement and challenging the status quo
- Develop and embed HR procedures, systems, templates and reporting mechanisms on site
- Analyse qualitative or quantitative HR data to identify and address business issues,
- Deliver training as required.

**About You**
To ensure your success in this role;
- A relevant HR tertiary qualification
- Proven experience in delivering widespread HR support and advice
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- A background in the resources industry is a definite advantage and we hope you can “hit the ground running.”
- You will have a good understanding of current employment law and legislation with demonstrated experience in managing and mitigating employment risk, providing advice on performance management, disciplinary procedures, disputes, and all employment matters.
- Experience with interpretation, managing compliance of industrial instruments, Enterprise Agreements and Enterprise Bargaining negotiations is desirable
