**THE FARM & COMPANY**

Iconic Bobbara Station's strength lies in it being perfectly located in a reliable rainfall zone, allowing for robust and reliable mixed livestock and cropping operations year-on-year.

The property spanning approx. 4,000Ha currently operates livestock enterprises, comprising between 8,000 to 10,000 ewes (mix of merino / 1XBs), plus approx. 600 Angus cows (producing F1 wagyu calves). They are committed to producing high-quality livestock and adhere to sustainable agricultural practices.

As Farm Manager of you will hold the reins of overall day-2-day management and reporting to Management, but mainly zero in on your ability and experience to drive the livestock enterprises.

If your passion is livestock, you will love that all the cropping operations are managed by a well-established contractor - who knows how all the gates swing - hence this position will focus primarily on livestock and staff management.

The property utilises BMP and state-of-the-art technology, has high quality infrastructure and boasts an approx. 5,000T grain complex and fine clamp silage.

Bobbara Station was purchased by Union Agriculture which has been established by overseas investors. Union Agriculture landholdings include 4 properties in NSW spanning over 23,000Ha with Bobbara their flagship and much loved 1st property - as such rest assured resources and support with always be at hand by the very cooperative owners.

This is certainly a role either for a highly experienced campaigner or young up-and-coming farm manager who is ready to take the next major step in their career in a company that is

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage, oversee, and drive all livestock operations, ensuring animal health and production efficiencies.
- Maintain the farm to high standards incl. infrastructure, plant and equipment.
- Lead, train and collaborate with your farm team (4-6), ensuring all members understand and adhere to relevant safety and welfare policies.
- Collaborate with the cropping contractor to ensure smooth overall operation of the farm.
- Effective and timely communication to complete company reports and documentation as required.

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**:

- Extensive management experience in sheep and cattle operations.
- University Degree/Diploma in Agriculture (highly regarded).
- Own working dogs (essential).
- Strong record keeping skills for livestock incl. Word, Excel + mobile apps (e.g. AgriWebb).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and motivate team members.
- Strong organisational and decision-making skills, able to maintain efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced work environment.
- A deep understanding of sustainable agricultural practices, with an ability to enhance productivity while protecting the environment.

**REMUNERATION AND LOCATION**
- Renovated 5-bedroom family homestead, formal dining and living rooms and is set within a well-maintained garden.
