**The Role**
Are you looking for a diverse role that has a bit of everything in a considerably sized enterprise? This could be the role for you, in the position of Livestock Station Hand you will be involved in all aspects of the Merino flock and Cattle herd which both have sire production programs attached producing quality self-replacement Rams and Bulls annually. The property is operated by a family with a multi-generational link to the property as well as a unique attachment to the local community and its history.

Excellent stockmanship skills are sought along with quality working dogs to undertake all tasks required with the 11,000 Merino Ewes, whose progeny are utilised for prime lamb and wool production. Sheep work is made comfortable by the use of modern facilities and sheep-handling equipment. Similarly, 1,000 head of Shorthorn and Angus cross cows provide offspring which is grown out for feeder markets.

This is a livestock-focused role however you may be involved from time to time with the cropping element of the property which involves 1,500Ha of Wheat and Canola which is utilised for grain production and grazing of stock. All staff are responsible for the maintenance and repair of farm infrastructure and machinery, therefore mechanical aptitude, fabrication, and fencing skills are required.

**The Offer**
Previous experience and knowledge will be generously remunerated with a salary package in addition to supplying power and internet for your comfortable three-bedroom home surrounded by established gardens and a shed which you can utilise to house your provided work vehicle.

School bus access is conveniently within two minutes drive of the front gate, and you will be handy to both Harden and Cootamundra which are less than 20 minutes away and approximately 90 minutes from the large centres of Wagga Wagga and Canberra - all amenities are accessible and employment opportunities close by for your partner.

The local area is steeped in history and home to several vineyards as well as being in close proximity to dams and the Murrumbidgee River to enjoy various water sports, fishing and exploring.

The person we are seeking will be passionate about farming and will have attention to detail and enthusiasm whilst taking initiative along with:

- Previous livestock experience and confidence in undertaking all animal husbandry-related tasks.
- Quality working dogs
- Ability to operate and maintain a range of machinery.
- HR or HC truck licence
- Chem cert
- Willingness to assist others and work in a team environment.
