**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
Mercy Health provides a range of Health Services to include acute and subacute hospital care, mental health programs, specialist women’s healthcare, early parenting services and palliative care. Health Services incorporates almost 5,000 staff across multiple campuses predominantly in Victoria and with a presence in New South Wales.
The General Manager People and Culture, Health Services leads the Health Services People and Culture team (7FTE) and assists the Chief People Officer with the implementation of the Mercy Health People Strategy.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the role will work collaboratively with the Chief Executive, Health Services and as a member of the Health Services Leadership team, provide leadership on People and Culture matters.
This is a full-time (76 hrs a fortnight), permanent position based from the Werribee hospital with travel to other health sites and the Richmond Head Office required. Hybrid working arrangements (3 days onsite; 2 days WFH) are available.
**ABOUT YOU**:
We are seeking a proven leader with demonstrable success within a complex, diverse and evolving environment that can evidence their values based leadership and offer an authentic, engaging and agile character.
- Proven experience at a senior HR level in a complex multi-site or health setting or aligned sector.
- Demonstrated success as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders.
- Experience leading service delivery, cultural change and major projects in a complex multi-site organisation.
- Demonstrated leadership of complex ER/IR matters.
