**Medical Receptionist**
**Part Time or Casual available - Immediate Start**
**About the practice**:
We are looking for a casual staff to be part of this solo doctor practice. This position will suit for those who is looking for a short hours,close to home or part time hours.
Currently seeking to fill Monday to Wednesday 8am to 1pm & Saturday 2-6pm. Hours may change in the future.
**Duties may include but are not limited to**:
- Greeting patients and visitors
- Answering telephone calls and enquires
- Booking, scheduling and follow up appointments
- Maintaining a clean reception and waiting area
- Processing Medicare Billings
- Day-to-day banking
- Maintaining information confidentiality at all times
- Monitoring and ordering stationery and toiletries to maintain a working supply at all times
- End of Month duties
**The successful applicant will**:
- Have knowledge of **Best Practice Software** is preferred. NOT essential
- Experience in a General Practice setting is preferred. NOT essential
- Evidence of current COVID-19 vaccination
- Undergoing any mandatory training as set out by employer
- Have full working rights in Australia
- CPR Certificate is essential
- if you do not have this, you can obtain
- National Valid Police Clearance is required - if you do not have this, you can obtain

- Have own reliable transport
**Salary**:Discussed at time of interview - which is then reviewed after the 6 months probationary period.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Temp to perm, Locum
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 19 per week
**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Warwick, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Medical admin: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
