**Immediate Part-Time and Casual Openings**
**About the Practice**:
Join our new medical practice as a casual staff member. This role is perfect for individuals seeking flexible hours close to home or part-time work.
**Key Responsibilities**:
As a Medical Receptionist, your duties will include:
- Welcoming patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Managing telephone calls and addressing inquiries.
- Efficiently booking, scheduling, and following up on appointments.
- Maintaining a clean and organized reception and waiting area.
- Handling Medicare billings and administrative tasks.
- Managing faxing, scanning, filing, and correspondence.
- Conducting daily banking transactions.
- Safeguarding patient information and ensuring confidentiality.
- Monitoring and replenishing stationery and toiletries supplies.
- Assisting with end-of-month duties as needed.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
The successful applicant will:
- **Must have prior experience** in a Medical Receptionist role.
- Be willing to work one weekday and weekend shift per week.
- Preferably have experience with Best Practice Software, though it's not mandatory.
- Must have prior experience in a General Practice setting.
- Be able to provide evidence of current COVID-19 vaccination.
- Be willing to complete mandatory training as required by the employer.
- Have full working rights in Australia.
- Possess a CPR Certificate (can be obtained if not already certified).
- Hold a National Police Clearance (can be obtained if not available).

**Salary and Application**:
Salary will be discussed during the interview process and reviewed after a successful 6-month probationary period.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Temp to perm, Locum
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
Schedule:
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Warwick, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Medical admin: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
