**Summary**: Our Federal government client are currently embarking on a major initiative, the ICT Strategic Sourcing Program, aimed at enhancing our ICT Services Provider arrangements through a comprehensive series of Request for Tenders (RFTs). As a part of this transformative journey, we are seeking skilled Transition Managers to lead and oversee the transition out and transition in activities resulting from the RFTs.
- As a Transition Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of the ICT Strategic Sourcing Program. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing the seamless transition of ICT services as we onboard new providers and phase out existing arrangements. Your expertise and leadership will be crucial in ensuring mínimal disruption to operations while maximizing the benefits of the new service provider landscape.**Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage all transition out and transition in activities related to the ICT Strategic Sourcing Program.
- Develop and execute comprehensive transition plans, considering timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of transition activities.
- Identify potential roadblocks and challenges during transitions and proactively implement solutions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress, changes, and milestones.
- Monitor and evaluate transition progress, making adjustments as necessary to achieve program objectives.
- Ensure compliance with program objectives, quality standards, and budgetary constraints.

**Experience Needed**:

- Proven experience in managing complex transitions, preferably within the IT or technology sector.
- Strong understanding of IT service management, vendor management, and procurement processes.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, even under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive collaboration.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) and IT service management (e.g., ITIL) is a plus.
- Experience in government or public sector transitions is advantageous.
