Your professionalism and patient focused care will be instrumental in making a difference to the patients and families within our direct catchment area - Western Suburbs of Melbourne.

As an employee within the Nursing & Midwifery Workforce Unit, you will be provided with a 8 week supported transition program facilitated by our Education teams with ongoing permanent employment with Nurse Pool on successful completion of the program.

The contracted hours for the 8 week program are 32hrs per week commencing on October 2nd, 2023 and ongoing employment hours post program completion are negotiable.

The areas you will work in include our general medical and surgical acute care wards however if you have previous experience in specialty areas, we can explore opportunities to undertake the program in these areas if preferred.

**To be successful in this role you must**:

- Hold current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
- Have a minimum one years full-time or equivalent experience working as a nurse with no recent acute practice experience
- Be willing to undertake an 8 week learning program 4 days per week
- Commit to ongoing permanent employment in Nurse Pool on a rotating roster
