About Culture and Capability
This area is responsible for learning and development, performance management and human resource programs such as wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, and reward and recognition. This team contributes to achieving the workforce plan objectives of developing, motivating and retaining employees.
About the role
**In this role you will**:
- Coordinate activities associated with learning and development and our health and wellbeing program.
- Maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as the providers of learning and development programs, the employee assistance program and providers of.
- Promote events and prepare communication material about a range of programs and initiatives.
- Coordinate the annual reward and recognition program and encourage ongoing recognition.
- Identify significant events that Legal Aid Queensland will participate in and make arrangements to celebrate events.
- Deliver information sessions on Legal Aid Queensland programs and initiatives.
About you
- You have experience coordinating events and/or programs. You are able to work independently, plan ahead and monitor task progress to ensure deadlines are met.
- You have strong project / program support and administrative skills (including the use of systems such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel)
- You can build and sustain relationships with team members, other colleagues and external stakeholders.
- You present and write in a clear, concise and articulate manner and can tailor your writing and presentation style to suit particular audiences.
